Our inspiration and our intrigue comes from the Bauhaus style born to Germany in 1919. This minimalistic yet sophisticated style is brought to life in our work. BRANDHAUS is a full-service marketing, brand and visual communication studio. We are the catalyst behind every strategic plan. Every marketing dollar spent should grow business and yield return on investment. Our primary focus is brand development, a core element in any organization. From individual advertising and marketing campaigns to total brand identities, our job is to get a reaction. BRANDHAUS is located in the heart of Scottsdale inside the historic Camelback Tower, right next to the Fashion Square mall. With breath-taking views on the top floor, come share a glass of scotch with us.
Don has always been intrigued by the Bauhaus style brought forth in Germany in 1919, and this minimalist style can also be seen in his work. He lives by the phrase “less is more”, and takes a partnership approach with clients, helping them anticipate and move to the next level. He integrates award winning visual solutions with their marketing and business goals. Careful attention to branding results in forward-thinking design that is then applied to all tiers of the clients needs.
Don believes that all artistic disciplines – including architecture, graphic design, fashion, and product design can be interrelated in the design process. Effective integration of these disciplines results in simple, functional, and aesthetically pleasing solutions that respond to each client’s need.
Don is also an avid cyclist, and has raced in USA sanctioned cycling events for the past 4 seasons. This year he helped mentor Team Candlelighters for the Tour de Summerlin, while they raised over $64,000 for children with cancer. He also enjoys being a camp counselor at their yearly Camp Firefly.
Don is a member of AIGA, and has been a guest lecturer to design students at Michigan State University where he obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design as well as Photography. Don also has participated in portfolio critiques for MSU Department of Art & Art History’s design graduates.
As Chief Strategy Officer and founder of Conversiv, he draws upon over 15 years of proven experience to put the best options and solutions on the table, and always puts customers at the forefront of ideas and challenges them to new ways of thinking. Conversiv helps companies bridge business objectives to successful strategic and creative outcomes.
Developing various consumer marketing initiatives for specific acute service lines within a health system, Gina combines research, market data and digital/traditional marketing tactics to realize overall lift and provide measurable reporting. Another area of expertise is developing strategic growth plans for medical groups, specialty hospitals and sub-acute facilities, such as skilled nursing residences.
Gina and her husband recently left the “dry heat” of Arizona for the more humid climate of South Carolina where she plans to expand and use her healthcare marketing experience to help organizations empower consumers to reduce their health risk and know when to seek care for a better overall life. Most importantly, her new digs bring her closer to two grandchildren she intends to spoil rotten.
Kendra graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Public Relations. She lives in Valencia, Calif. with her husband and three kids.
Christina manages marketing projects and constructs marketing plans for clients. She also oversees communications, marketing and social marketing for clients. Her ability to organize and manage details has helped her plan events of all sizes. During her career she has planned medical conferences, educational conferences and press conferences. While at the U.S. Department of Education, Christina planned site visits for White House officials and senior department staff to schools throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Brandhaus, Christina served as the public relations specialist and was acting marketing director for St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco. Before that she worked at The Polyclinic in Seattle as a communications specialist where she partnered with physicians to develop strategic marketing plans to grow patient volume. Christina started her career at Ogilvy Public Relations in Washington, D.C. She played a key role on The Heart Truth campaign.
Additionally, Brent has been recognized nationally in publications such as HOW and Print.
In his spare time, not only does Brent enjoy sharpening his fine art skills by sketching, studying art and painting, he also can be found endurance cycling for charity events as well as working on obtaining his private pilot’s certificate.
Brent graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Design Communication.
He is someone who is passionate about designing and expressing his creative talents in an online environment. He offers a versatile range of framework design, web design and web development. Jason also enjoys riding his Ducati Panigale 899, a work of art in itself.
After a few more years in casino IT, he joined a military healthcare research team at Eleu Pacific Partners in Maui. While holding the position of lead developer on a research team for the DoD and VA, his projects included developing prototypes and advising businesses on best practices and approaches to migrating and integrating legacy health care systems.
At that time, Billy founded Caoabunga Inc., an independent software consultant company that provides mobile and web application solutions. His background includes various technologies such as Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails, Tibco BusinessWorks, BusinessEvents, .Net and Objective-C. He also enjoys snorkeling.
Ken is co-founder of Wild Dog Films, an independent film company that produced two feature length movies as well as various short films and commercials. He also co-founded JustDrift, a motorsports promotion group that holds hundreds of race events throughout the country. Ken takes pride in immersing himself in the creative and technical aspects of every project. He believes ultimate creativity comes in the ability of making a connection with the audience, whether it’s through a click of a mouse or through story telling.
During his free time, Ken enjoys documentary photography, writing and illustrating. Several of his pieces have been showcased in galleries in Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Los Angeles as well as featured on National Public Radio. He is also part of the Society of Children Book Writers & Illustrators and is currently completing several books. Ken lives in Las Vegas with his wife Sophie and two sons, Shawn and Nikko.
In 2010, she flew the coop and ventured to Southern California where she worked with national brands such as Petco, HD Supply, and The Union-Tribune. Katie has a background in digital, print, production, illustration, and art direction. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated an eagerness to learn and loves thinking outside of the box to create new brand experiences.
Aside from design, Katie loves drawing, being a mom (human and fur), daydreaming about traveling to far away places, and continues to stay hopeful that Wawa will one day move out West!
Aside from graphic design, Kimberly enjoys sewing, reading, baking and spending time with family.
Erika honed her skills as an artist and designer at Eastern Michigan University, where she received a BFA in graphic design. Inspired by color theory, pattern, intricate illustration, hand drawn lettering, clean typography, conceptual design and technology, Erika’s continual interest and enthusiasm for all things design cannot go unnoticed.
