I was diagnosed with courage

At St. John’s Cancer Center patients aren’t diagnosed with cancer. They’re diagnosed with courage, and strength. This campaign is very special to us; our inspiration not only came from oncology nurses, doctors, and the St. John’s Cancer Center staff, it reflects our own spirit as well. One of the members of our team was diagnosed with Hodgekins Lymphoma in 2010. After several very long months of radiation, chemotherapy, and courage – he won.

assignment

To tout the highly specialized services available at Columbus Regional Health to expectant mothers so they can prepare for the unexpected. Of course, we hope people don’t need it, but it’s there when seconds count. We highlighted real-life former NICU patients and really brought home the fact that they’re here today because of the NICU at Columbus Regional Health.

objective

That’s the premise of this campaign – to tout the highly specialized services available at Columbus Regional Health to expectant mothers so they can prepare for the unexpected. Of course, we hope people don’t need it, but it’s there when seconds count. We highlighted real-life former NICU patients and really brought home the fact that they’re here today because of the NICU at Columbus Regional Health.

outcome

The campaign garnered a lot of attention in the community from friends and family of former NICU patients. A social media campaign allowed community members to share their personal stories – a powerful way of bringing the message home even further.
